The Foo Dog Ate My Homework

This wood-panelled library with this high ceilings and gilt accents (portrait, chandelier, mirror, etc) could be so intimidating, but the plush blue velvet chairs and cushions, wonderful blue and green plaid rug, and console table filled with family pictures and flowers make it so welcoming and gracious. Elegant and comfortable.
