I cannot say enough about this glossy black library in Manhattan by New Orleans based Melissa Rufty of MMR Interiors. With deft use of colorful accessories, and friendly (though totally chic) furniture, Ms. Rufty has made a room that could be dark as a cave into the coolest family hangout. Love the coral settee, the x-benches, the Stark sisal, the awesome abstract painting, and the gold lantern and library lighting. Just fabulous.
